Privacy Policy
Weady ("the app", "we") is a wedding-planning app operated by Horizona Limited. This policy covers the Weady app and website, including Weady Story films. It explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Weady is local-first: most of your data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and turn on cloud sync.
Information we collect
- Account (only if you sign in): your email address, via Apple, Google, or email sign-in.
- Wedding data you enter: couple names, date, venue, budget, checklist, vendors, seating, and similar planning details.
- Guest information you add: names and any contact details you choose to enter, and RSVP responses submitted through your shared RSVP link.
- Story films: names, dates, captions, photos and music you add. Editing and previewing run on your device; saving to My Library or proceeding to checkout uploads the film details and media to private cloud storage. Paid videos are also stored privately for repeat viewing and downloads.
- Website payments: order details, amount, currency and payment status. Stripe processes card details; we do not store full card numbers.
- Device & ads data: for the free, ad-supported tier we use Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers to serve ads. On iOS we ask your permission first (App Tracking Transparency).
How we use it
To provide the planning features, sync your data across your devices and collaborators (when you enable cloud sync), process RSVPs, provide and save Story films, verify payments and allow private video downloads, and show ads on the free app tier. We do not sell your personal data.
Storage & service providers
- On your device: your data is stored locally by default.
- Supabase: cloud hosting, authentication, database and private media storage when you enable app cloud sync/collaboration or save Story films.
- Stripe: payment processing for website Story purchases.
- Apple & Google: sign-in.
- Google AdMob: advertising on the free tier.
- RevenueCat / app stores: to process Weady Plus purchases.
Your choices & data deletion
You can use Weady without an account. If you sign in, you can permanently delete your account and its cloud data at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Story films can be deleted from My Library. Website account-deletion requests can be sent to hello@weady.co; see our deletion instructions. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. Payment providers may retain transaction records for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. Deleting the app removes local data on that device.
Optional website ad measurement
With your permission, we load Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag to measure website visitors, page views and confirmed Story film purchases from our ads. Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and cookies to estimate visitors and sessions. We send page names and sanitized page addresses, excluding film IDs, checkout references and sign-in tokens. Google may use advertising cookies and click identifiers. We send an order ID, purchase amount and currency; we do not send your photos, film content or email address for this measurement. Declining does not affect using Weady or purchasing a film. You can reset your choice by clearing this website’s stored data in your browser.
Children
Weady is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date here.
